HealthNet of Rock County has big shoes to fill after the resignation of CEO Ian Hedges.

Hedges says after eight years in the community, it was a difficult decision, however this summer he decided he wanted to move to Chicago to be closer to family and long-time friends.

The free and charitable clinic’s Board of Directors announced that, during this transition, the organization’s Chief Strategy Officer Cori Tucker and Chief People Officer Kristin Austin will serve as Co-Interim CEOs.

Hedges was responsible for making HealthNet of Rock County’s dental clinic one of the first clinics in Janesville to accept BadgerCare or Medicaid for dental services.
