Janesville Mobilizing for Change is getting a little support in the form of some newly awarded grant money.

Director Xandi Finn says they’ve been awarded $125,000 and the money will allow them to focus on engaging youth, expand into more of Rock County, and hosting alcohol and drug free activities for families.

Finn says without funding from the local, state, or even federal level, organizations like Janesville Mobilizing for Change would not be able to exist, and they would not be able to provide the services and support to the community.

The money was awarded through the Drug-Free Communities Support Program.
