The Janesville Plan Commission clears the way for a developer to make land available for single-family homes in the town of Janesville.
On Monday the Plan Commission approved the preliminary plat for the Rollingwood Eleventh Addition, located along the southwest side of North County Trunk Highway F, north of U.S. Highway 14th.
The developer proposes to subdivide 67.9 acres of land into 32 residential lots and two outlots.
Because the plat is located outside of city limits and beyond any area expected to be served by the City in the future, it is exempt from and parkland dedication requirements.
The Janesville Plan Commission approved both the modifications to the subdivision ordinance and the preliminary plat in unanimous votes this week.
