The YMCA of Northern Rock County hosts its second annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.

Health and Wellness Coordinator Rene Koepp says participants are invited to climb 52 stairs 40 times beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Koepp says the Janesville Police and Fire Departments are bringing equipment for participants to wear during the climb.

Koepp says if people don’t want to do all 40 reps of stairs, they can climb them one time and place the name of a fallen first responder on a memorial wall.
