A local animal shelter is looking to help homeless pets go home with a cocktail gala.

Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin Fundraising Coordinator Shannon Redden says Mutts & Martinis will take place on October 12th at Glen Erin Golf Club.

The event begins at 5:30 PM with a cocktail hour featuring specialty martinis and light hors d’oeuvres. There will also be a wine pull, professional photo opportunities, and an online silent auction which will be open for bidding October 9th.

Redden says reservations are $100 per person or $750 for a table of eight.

The deadline for reservations is this Sunday.
