An upcoming conference put on by HealthNet of Rock County looks at how behavioral health impacts people at different stages of their life.

Chief People Office Kristin Austin says the Southern Wisconsin Conference on Behavioral Health focuses on how adolescent substance abuse can continue to impact adults if it isn’t addressed at a young age.

Austin says this year’s keynote speaker is Rebecca Bender, and she is going to focus on human trafficking and will speak from her own experiences having survived trafficking.

The conference takes place October 10th at the Dr. Daniel Hale Williams Resource Center and tickets can be purchased by visiting HealthNet’s Facebook page.
