Those with a creative itch, and a sugar tooth, might want to look into Community Action’s 10th annual Gingerbread Extravaganza.
Public Relations Manager Beth Tallon says they’re finally back in person this year and it will be held Saturday, December 2nd from 9am until 11am at Fruzen Middle School in Beloit.
Tallon says they have a standard gingerbread kit for $15, and a deluxe kit is available for $25, and kids will be able to take photos with Santa during the event.
Community Action is also offering take home options for people who want to build gingerbread houses on their own time.
