
A Beloit man who led police on chase through the city and eventually crashed in Winnebago County is held on a $200,000 cash bond.
38 year old Ronald Hicks appeared in front of Court Commissioner Jack Hoag Monday afternoon for his initial appearance and a return on warrant, where the state initially argued for a $100,000 cash bond.
According to a criminal complaint, Hicks led police on a car chase with speeds exceeding 80mph in Beloit before crashing his car in Winnebago County.
Hicks faces multiple charges including three counts of kidnapping, 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
