The Friends of the Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center, the City of Janesville, and the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin team up on a public community capital campaign.

Spokesperson Christine Rebout says it allows everyone to feel like their a part of the project, whether they give $5.00 or $5000.

Rebout says the fund supports not only the development and construction but also the furnishings and maintenance of the 130,000-square-foot facility.

Online gifts in support of this project can be made on the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin website.

To date the Friends of the Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center have raised $9.4 million in private donations.
