The 30 year old Janesville man accused of leading police on a 14 mile chase through the city after shooting at someone on Janesville’s south side has his cash bail reduced.

Sergio Morales is charged in Rock County Court with two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, attempted first degree intentional homicide, fleeing an officer, and operating a firearm while intoxicated.

In October Court Commissioner Jack Hoag set Morales cash bond at $500,000.

According to online court records, Tuesday morning Judge Barbara McCrory reduced Morales’ cash bond to $50,000.

Morales is due back in Rock County court on March 19th for a calendar call.
