**The version is updated to reflect the correct year for tax returns and W2s needed for the event**

College bound students and their families can receive free assistance in completing the FAFSA form at the Beloit Public Library January 9th.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator Amy Mitchell says the class runs from 6 to 9pm and volunteer financial aid professionals and educators will be on hand to provide one-on-one help and answer any questions they may have.

Mitchell says people should remember to bring a few things including 2022 federal tax returns and W2s, 2022 untaxed income records, driver’s license, cell phone, social security number, and know the birth date for both parents.

A full list of needed items can be found by contacting the Beloit Public Library.
