The Janesville School District is providing some updates on where they are in regards to the long-term facility plans.

Superintendent Mark Holzman says a study by JP Cullen told them they’ll need more than $500 million to make the upgrades they need across the district, but they won’t be able to do them all at once and will have to go in stages.

Holzman says they’ll be holding three community feedback sessions for people to attend, then they’ll send out a survey and hopefully have the results back in May so that the school board can come up with a recommendation on how to proceed over the summer.

The first feedback session will be February 28th from 6 to 8pm at Marshall Middle School.
