Local businesses along Humes Road in Janesville may just be starting to recover from the Highway 14 reconstruction project, but there is more road work on the horizon.

The City of Janesville will reconstruct portions of North Pontiac Drive, Morse Street, and Ryan Road starting on March 25th.

Assistant City Engineer Lisa Wolf says residents and business owners can learn more about the project at an informational meeting on March 13th from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Janesville.

Wolf says the project is part of the City’s annual street rehabilitation program in which 10 to 12 miles are reconstructed each year.
