The Burger King on Center Avenue is being torn down and replaced.

Janesville Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says the current building at 2001 Center Avenue is about 4,000 square feet in size.

Schweigl says the new building would be smaller – just under 3,200 square feet. It would include an outdoor play area for customers to use.

The Janesville Plan Commission is expected to hold a public hearing and consider a conditional use permit for the project when they meet April 1st.
