A 64-year-old Beloit man who’s suffering from stage four cancer is being held in the Rock County Jail on a $5000 cash bond on charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, keeping a place of prostitution, and human trafficking.

Dennis Hereford made his initial appearance in Rock County Court this week where Court Commissioner Jack Hoag also ordered that he have no women in his home between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Hereford is accused of running a crack house on Porter Avenue where women had sex for drugs and money while possibly being unknowingly filmed.

A search warrant was executed on Hereford’s home back in December but he wasn’t arrested until last week due to his declining health.

Hereford is due back in Rock County Court for an adjourned initial appearance on May 13th.
