It appears 48 new apartment units are coming to the south side of Milton.

City Administrator Paul Hensch says developer Backyard Properties is looking to rezone a little over 12-and-a-half acres of land along Parkview Drive from existing planned unit development, to new planned unit development.

The project includes 48, 3 bedroom units, 12 of which have already been approved.

The Milton City Council gave the project the green light in a unanimous vote this week.
