A 22-year-old Beloit man is accused of robbing the Kwik Trip on Prairie Avenue in Beloit at gunpoint on June 13th.

According to the criminal complaint, Christian Kayser entered the convenience store just before 2:00 a.m. and displayed a handgun in his waistband before taking off with less than $100 in cash.

About a week later, after following up with leads from Kasyer’s father, his probation officer, and the group home he ran away from, Kayser was taken into custody at a residence on the 1200 block of Keeler Avenue.

Kayser is currently being held in the Rock County Jail on a $5000 cash bond on a single count of armed robbery.
