The 23-year-old Beloit man charged in a non-fatal shooting on April 28th on the 700 block of Oak Street is bound over for trial.

Travion Hamilton had his preliminary hearing in Rock County Court last week on charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Court Commissioner Mason Braunschweig found that enough evidence had been presented that a felony had probably been committed by Hamilton.

The victim received non-life threatening injuries.

Hamilton is scheduled to appear again in Rock County Court next Friday for his arraignment.
