An Evansville woman who admitted to having one or two beers before crossing the centerline on U.S. Highway 14 and striking another vehicle head-on is released from the Rock County Jail on a signature bond.
Alison Pagel made her initial appearance in Rock County Court this week on a single charge of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
Court Commissioner Jack Hoag gave Pagel a $5,000 signature bond and ordered that she maintain absolute sobriety and only drive to and from medical appointments, work, and appointments with her attorney.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says Pagel had too much to drink last Thursday evening when she crossed the center in the town of Porter with her white Tesla and struck a 39-year-old Janesville woman head-on.
Pagel is scheduled to appear back in Rock County Court for her preliminary hearing on July 29th.
