A Beloit man with multiple warrants out of Dane County receives a signature bond in Rock County after being accused of crashing into a squad car and running off.

Assistant District Attorney Cheniqua White argued that cash bond was necessary to ensure Kevin Leffelman returns to court to face charges of hit and run and obstructing an officer, along with a number of traffic citations.

Court Commissioner Jack Hoag gave Leffelman a signature bond, although he won’t be free as he will likely be transported to Dane County to face open charges there.

Beloit Police say an intern suffered a possible concussion when Leffelman struck the squad car that was on a traffic stop on Prairie Avenue.
