The City of Beloit is celebrating National Night Out with a community barbeque and individual block parties over two days.

Captain Chris Eberhardt says the police department is hosting a party for the entire community on Wednesday August 7th, at 5:00 p.m. at Telfer Park.

The community celebration will feature demonstrations, free food, and free home security cameras for the first 100 attendees.

Eberhardt says individual block parties will be happening on August 6th and 7th.
