If you missed a chance to pick up a brick from the former General Motors Assembly plant, you’re in luck.

The Rock County Historical Society is ready to unveil the revamped Rock County Legacies Museum.

Mezera says many of the items that former employees donated to Blackhawk Community Credit Union will finally be on display.

Mezera says a grand opening event is happening on August 21st from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

The grand opening will feature live music by the Wild Flamepoints, food trucks and a Janesville-made car show.

Attendees are welcome to pick up a piece of history: a brick from Janesville’s General Motors plant.
