A 32-year-old Beloit man accused of selling cocaine laced with fentanyl takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.

According to online court records Wednesday Tadereal Tavarres plea guilty to two counts of manufacture or delivery of cocaine – second and subsequent offense.

Judge Karl Hanson dismissed but read into the record four counts of manufacture or delivery of fentanyl and two counts of manufacture or delivery of cocaine.

According to the criminal complaint, Tavarres sold drugs to a confidential informant on at least three occasions. At the time Tavarres was on probation for a previous drug-dealing conviction.

Tavarres is already in prison after having his probation revoked in the previous case.

Sentencing for the new case is set for October 10th.
