A 21-year-old Windsor man is accused of pulling a gun on another driver on the Interstate and then leading police on a high-speed chase in Janesville.
Yusef Bin Usaamah Nolley is charged in Rock County Court with two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, attempting to flee an officer, pointing a firearm at another, carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the criminal complaint, a woman was headed south on I-39/90 on September 25th when she honked at another driver who cut he off. She told police the other driver pulled a gun and pointed at her.
The victim called 911 and was able to follow the suspect vehicle as it parked near Pine Tree Plaza in Janesville.
A State Trooper located the suspect vehicle and it fled at a high rate of speed down Deerfield Drive. It eventually stopped in a parking lot after an officer conducted a PIT maneuver.
When officers arrested Nolley they found a loaded gun in the center console and a drug snorting straw on his person.
Nolley is currently being held in the Rock County Jail on a $1,000 cash bond.
