Firefighters from two local fire departments are currently battling a blaze at a single-family home in Janesville.

According to the Rock County 911 Communications Center, the call to the 400 block of Forest Park Boulevard came in just after 10:30 Monday morning.

The Janesville Fire Department and Lakeside Fire-Rescue are on scene.

A neighbor told a Big Radio reporter that a family with school-age kids and multiple pets live in the home which is near Roosevelt Elementary School.

Damage is extensive. No word on any injuries.
