The Rock County Democrats have not shared details, but the group says Vice President Kamala Harris plans to visit Janesville on Friday as she wraps up her swing through battleground Wisconsin.

The Democrats have hosted a signup on their Facebook page so people can RSVP the event to get on the guest list.

A location and a time have not been announced.

Harris has campaigned in Madison this week to deliver her final argument in the lead up to the Presidential election. She’s traveled with a cast of pop music stars and celebrities as she makes her final few visits to Wisconsin.

New polls show Harris has a slim lead in Wisconsin over former President Donald Trump, but most pollsters say that spread is within a margin for error.

That means it remains a literal dead heat between the Harris and Trump going into November.

Trump has spent the last few days hitting Wisconsin, too, with visits to Green Bay, and a scheduled stop in Milwaukee on Friday.

Harris plans her own stop in Milwaukee, as the two go toe-to-toe to try to win Wisconsin and Michigan, both which represent blocs of Electoral College votes that could decide the outcome of the election.

In October 2020, Trump made a fly-in on Air Force One to the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville to attend a rally there.

It’s not clear what size event Harris’s campaign plans in Janesville on Friday, but the local Democrats all calling the campaign stop “Kamala Harris’s Visit.”
