Having recently returned from a trip to Costa Rica,naturalist Dave Bendlin will describe and show photos of the landscapes and diverse wildlife of this nation,a small Central American country known for ecotourism in its many national parks.These parks encompass almost 25% of the country and contain many different habitats: tropical rain forests,tropical dry forests, volcanoes and protected beaches and parks along both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts.

After the program, there will be a short annual business meeting of the RCC to elect board members and discuss membership, financial matters, educational awards and grants, natural areas restoration projects and programs.This year’s order form for the 2026 Natural Plant Sale will also be available.
