The Milton School District is the latest to publicly post an on-line “dashboard” including the number of staff and students confirmed to have COVID-19. Superintendent Richard Dahman says the “dashboard” will be used to report active cases. The count will not include those considered “recovered” or “noninfectious” by the county health department. The district will also use the dashboard to account for the total number of identified “close contacts” of confirmed cases within the buildings who have ben instructed to quarantine. Dahman says the “dashboard” may help parents decide what learning situation is best for their child, in-person or virtual. The listings will be updated bi-weekly.
