Nurses at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital Janesville appear eager to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Registered Nurse Claire Kuschel was the first to be vaccinated at the facility Sunday. Kuschel has been a nurse for seven-years and calls the vaccine a light a the end of a long tunnel during the pandemic. She says she was excited to get the vaccine because it was a way to help her family, friends, patients, and the community. SSM health’s employee vaccination supplies are from an initial statewide allotment and because of limited doses will be administered to front line health care workers first.
