A 43-year-old Janesville man is under arrest on suspicion of drunken driving for the 4th time after an incident involving the State Patrol.

According to a news release, a Trooper located John P. Davies for a welfare check on southbound I-39/90 just after 1:00 Saturday morning after he had been involved in an earlier incident.

The Trooper who mad contact with Davies says his vehicle smelled of marijuana and he displayed multiple signs of impairment.

Davies was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated, fourth offense.
