The City of Janesville partners with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to become a Green Tier Legacy Community.

Deputy City Manager Ryan McCue says the program assists communities with achieving their sustainability goals.

McCue says Janesville is one of only 25 participating municipalities in the State and the only Rock County member to join.

McCue says a GTLC page on the City’s website includes the annual report and will showcase the City’s efforts at working toward greater environmental sustainability.
