The Rock River may be on the rise. The Rock County Sheriff’s office says the U.S. Geological Survey Gauge reads 6.99 feet. County ordinance requires a slow-no-wake speed restriction be placed on the river when water levels exceed 6.5 feet. The sheriff’s office is providing public notice of the Rock River’s current slow-no-wake status and will be placing signs along the river at all public access points between the Indianford Dam and the West B R Townline Road Bridge.
