Beloit police are investigating a shooting on the near west side.  Police say the incident happened near the intersection of Portland Avenue and 4th Street about 2:45 Saturday afternoon. Investigators believe the occupant of one vehicle shot at another.  One person was treated and released at the hospital.  Police believe the attack was targeted and intentional.
