One person is injured following a shooting in Beloit.

According to the Rock County 911 Communications Center the incident was reported shortly before 2:30 Saturday morning in the 1700 block of Royce Avenue.

Beloit police say one person was transported to the hospital with an injury.

The incident remains under investigation.
