Janesville police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a local bar early Saturday morning.

Slicks Bar and Grill on Rockport Road was robbed at gunpoint just before 2:00 a.m.

Police say the suspect displayed a firearm and demanded money from a register before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No employees or patrons were harmed in the robbery. A K-9 unit tracked the suspect but was unable to locate him.

Officers are reviewing surveillance footage, but they describe the suspect as a six-foot tall white male with a thin build, last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and jeans with a black face covering.
