Forward Janesville’s new President and CEO dies from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Illinois last week.

50-year-old Michael Osborne was headed southbound on North Washington Street in Batavia last Wednesday night when a northbound vehicle entered his lane.

Osborne attempted to stop his Harley and was thrown from the bike into the other vehicle.

While Osborne was wearing a helmet, he was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to a Gofundme page set up by Osborne’s family, he passed away just after 9:30 Tuesday morning.

A celebration of life is planned for Mike at The Dam Bar in Geneva, Illinois on Friday from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m.
