A Wisconsin Department of Justice Green Alert that was issued for an Elkhorn veteran who had been missing since Tuesday is canceled after police make contact with him.

46-year-old Bret A. Jensen was last seen around 9:15 the morning of August 17th, when he walked out his job at the U.S. Postal service in Delavan.

According to a news release, Elkhorn Police were contacted by the Madison VA regarding suicidal statements that Jensen had made and the fact that he had called to cancel all of his future appointments.

Elkhorn Police said Thursday afternoon that they had made contact with Jensen and the the Green Alert is canceled.
