The City of Janesville is reviving talks of a transportation utility after hitting pause in February.

City Manager Mark Freitag says the City won’t be able to keep the pace of rehabilitating 12 miles a road a year under the current funding formula.

The Janesville City Council had a public meeting last week to gather feedback from the public on how they think roads should be paid for.
