The Beloit Historical Society receives a $9000 recovery grant from Wisconsin Humanities, provided by the National Endowment for Humanities.

Executive Director Donna Langford says it will help the non-profit retain two critical part time positions.

Langford says those two positions are especially important as earned revenue and volunteers have been hard hit by the pandemic.

Langford says the Beloit Historical Society is currently in dire need of volunteers, as many left at the beginning of the pandemic and never came back.
