The Rock County Public Health Department works to keep kids in the classroom with updated COVID-19 guidelines.

Health Educator Michael Niles says while adults still need to social distance six feet, students can maintain a distance of three feet.

Niles say studies show minimal transmission in schools when multiple layers of prevention are in place.
