Elkhorn Police are looking for the driver of the pickup truck that fatally struck a Lake Geneva man Sunday night.

According to a notice from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Elkhorn Police were dispatched to the report of a man lying in the ditch in the 400 block of County Highway H and not breathing just after 10:30 p.m. on October 3rd.

Investigation determined that 70-year-old Francisco Garcia was walking who he was hit and killed by a vehicle that failed to stop.

Elkhorn Police are attempting to a locate a silver GMC pickup that was last seen driving south on County Highway H by Gateway Technical College.

The pickup truck is believed to have minor damage to the passenger side head light lens and surrounding area. The pickup truck is also described as possibly being slightly lifted with chrome rims and in good condition
