Janesville’s reputation as a mecca for chain restaurants is about to grow.  City Economic Development Director Gale Price says Chick-Fil-A has announced an opening date of Wednesday November 3rd.  Chick-Fil-A is opening at the corner of Highway 14-Humes Road and North Pontiac Drive on Janesville’s highly commercialized northeast side.  Price is eager to witness first-hand the chain’s double drive-thru, renowned for its efficiency.  The restaurant is expected to employ more than fifty people.
