Several local school districts expect to see significant increases in their state aid this year.  State aid is distributed to help equalize educational spending despite differences in a district’s property wealth.  The Parkview School District will enjoy a 19% hike over last year.  Superintendent Steve Lutzke says much of the increase will go towards the tax levy, but more than $600 thousand will be left over for educational purposes.  Other districts seeing a big percentage increases in state aid include Edgerton at more than 9%, Milton with almost 8%, and Evansville a little under 7%.
