
Local State Assembly Representatives choose their First Responders of the year. 31st District Republican Amy Loudenbeck of Clinton chooses Beloit Paramedic and Firefighter, Acting Lieutenant Phil Ferrera for taking on additional responsibilities including assisting with fire safety outreach programs and work with at-risk youth. 43rd District Democrat Don Vruwink of Milton selects police officer O’Malley Lomax, who also serves as an Orfordville-Footville E-M-T for his unwavering commitment to the community. 44th District Democrat Sue Conley of Janesville singles out Deputy Sheriff Brandon Davis for repeatedly showing courage and integrity while protecting residents in Rock County. 45th District Democrat Mark Spreitzer of Beloit holds-up Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Murray for his continued leadership, selfless dedication, and service to the community. All the recipients were honored during a Hometown Heroes ceremony on the floor of the State Assembly.
