The Beloit City Council unanimously approves a balanced $149.1 million 2022 budget.

Finance Director Eric Miller says it’s a little more than 50 percent larger than this year’s budget due to a $42.5 million waste water treatment plant upgrade.

City Manager Lori Curtis-Luther thanked city staff for presenting a budget that continues to improve the City’s fiscal health in the midst of significant challenges.
