City of Janesville officials say the Jolly Jingle Holiday Lighted Parade is a great way for business and organizations to get their name out. Recreation Director Shelly Slapak says it’s also a great way to support revitalization of the downtown. Slapak says more entries for the December 4th event are needed. She says the city currently has twenty, of the about forty entries desired. Floats, decorated vehicles, marching groups, and even walking units are encouraged to apply, as long as the entry is lighted and festive. The entry deadline is this Friday.
