Janesville police are investigating what’s known as a “follow home robbery”.  Police were called to a home in the 400 block of Tisbury Drive just before 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.  An elderly woman had just arrived home, and was attacked in her garage.  The robber took her wallet, cell phone, and stole her car.  She was treated and released from the hospital after being struck repeatedly in the head.  Police say they’ve already recovered the vehicle in Rockford.  Authorities say this type of robbery is becoming more common and advise everyone to be aware of their surroundings when returning home.
