More information is coming to light about a new industrial development on Janesville’s far south side.  Planning Director Duane Cherek says city administration is currently engaged in preliminary discussions considering development of a large scale greenhouse and food production facility.  Cherek says the development proposal would include annexation of property to the city.  He says as project plans are further defined, the developer will host an informational meeting to share conceptual plans and obtain feedback.  More information may be released as details of a development agreement is formalized.
