Walworth County is having Public Involvement Meetings March 3rd and March 8th to discuss the revised Park and Open Space Plan. Public Works Deputy Director of Asset Management Matt Mortwedt says the intent is so citizens can review the regional planning commission’s plan and provide feedback in the open process before it gets adopted. He says the findings are things different agencies can work towards in areas of open space preservation, park improvements and provision of different amenities for the county’s parks. The first meeting starts 5 p.m. at Lake Geneva City Hall, the second starts same time but at Walworth County Public Works.
