A proposed Hy-Vee grocery store in Janesville won’t just include a Wahlburgers restaurant and Starbucks Coffee.
According to a City memo, the project will also include boutiques from DSW Shoes, Joe Fresh Clothing, and Basin – a company that sells natural bath and beauty products.
Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says the project required Plan Commission review as it has both a drive-thru pharmacy, and drive-thru grocery pickup facilities.
As part of the approval, Hy-Vee will be required to pay the City over $10,000 to complete the traffic improvements necessary to establish a four-way stop at the intersection of North Lexington Drive and the main Hy-Vee driveway.
The Plan Commission voted to approve the conditional use permit in a unanimous vote Monday night.
